Logan Frye was raised on a diversified grain farm in Mason County, Illinois, near Easton, where his family grew corn, soybeans, popcorn, white corn, seed corn, seed beans, sorghum, and wheat under center pivot irrigation.
He received a B.S. Degree in Agriculture Economics with a concentration in farm management and a minor in crop and soil management from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign in May, 2013. While on campus he served as president of Nabor House Fraternity during the construction of the new facility on Lincoln Avenue.
After graduation, Logan moved to Decatur, Illinois, and began his career as a Farm Manager and Appraisal Associate with Hickory Point Bank & Trust, fsb in May, 2013 – a firm he stayed with until joining Field Level Ag, Inc. in late 2021. During this time, he completed the extensive training to become a State Certified General Appraiser and valued over 100,000 acres of rural real estate. Logan looked after 8,700 acres across Illinois and corresponded with corporate clients and absentee landowners located throughout the country.
Logan is a member of the Illinois Society of Professional Farm Managers and Rural Appraisers, Illinois Farm Bureau, an alumnus of Illinois Ag Leadership Program, New Century Farmer Program, recipient of the American Farmer Degree from the FFA, and writes the alumni newsletter for Nabor House Fraternity. He remains actively engaged in the family’s farming operation and enjoys attending any type of auction.
