The Grissom-Maroa North Farm is located on the south edge of Maroa in the central part of Maroa Township, in northern Macon County. This farm is located on State Route 51 along the western border with good road access along the southern border as well. The Grissom-Maroa North Farm has entered into a solar lease option agreement with Nexamp Solar, LLC and is currently in the development phase. This agreement, if executed, would pay an annual operating payment of $1,000 per acre (indexed annually at CPI) for all acres taken out of crop production.
